Microsoft Corporation Senior Security research technical program manager: XDR & SIEM in Multiple Locations, Israel

Come be part of a diverse and vibrant threat research program mangers team, who’s passionate about protecting customers through implementing threat research projects and processes, driving security research analysis, quality, content, and strategic direction based on cybersecurity attack landscape, product and customers’ demand, industry & security standards, specifically driving on programs and projects in threat research for Microsoft Unified security operations platform (XDR and SIEM)

As the Technical program Manager for Security Threat Research, you will drive the execution of a global threat research a quality program as part of Microsoft security products’ research.

You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including data scientists, security analysts, engineers, and other project managers, utilizing program and project management standards.

In addition, the ideal candidate should possess strong coaching skills, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for professional growth within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and drive a team of threat researchers and partners with engineers and product teams globally, in the development and content creation in securing our customers as part of the Unified security operations platform.

  • Create and execute a threat research quality program and process across multiple research and product teams globally.

  • Create and maintain program and project plans, timelines, OKR and KPI to ensure successful delivery.

  • Provide guidance and coaching, contributing to an inclusive environment and a growth mindset.

  • Act as a technical advisor to partner, educate and evangelize on future directions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • At least 6 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in the field of cybersecurity

  • Experience in Incident response or cyber security

Required Qualifications:

  • Certifications in project or program management (such as PMP or Agile methodologies) or in cybersecurity (such as CISSP, CISM)

  • Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills

  • Self-Managed and Proactive
