Responsibilities

• Partner with Xbox engineering and Windows Engineering to adapt Xbox engineering systems to changing technologies and business requirements

• Help plan and design the future of Xbox engineering systems to modernize and improve developer and organization efficiency and effectiveness and increase developer satisfaction with their interactions of the engineering systems

• Maintain the existing Xbox OS engineering systems to ensure that builds continue to release timely and successfully

• Support Xbox engineers to successfully and efficiently navigate the engineering systems that they use to do their work

• Help develop and implement tools which help increase the efficiency of our engineering organization.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years software engineering OR equivalent experience.

• Commitment to quality and customer experience.

• Advanced English level.

Preferred:

• Coding experience with C/C++ or C#

• Scripting experience, particularly with PowerShell, Perl, and cmd

• Passion for Agile development philosophies

• Experience with Git, Azure Dev Ops, and Azure

• Experience with the Windows build system - Timebuild, Razzle, etc.

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering or a related field

• Success shipping large-scale products

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
