What You Will DoThe candidate for this position will have a solid, and proven track record working in technology projects/program preferably in the Financial Industry space.The Business Analyst will work with business areas, vendors, and internal IT partners to understand project scope, and translate business requirements into technology requirements.Understand, compare, and document current vs target state.Perform thorough gap analysis for meeting project target state.Will participate or lead integration discussions with IT counterparts and stakeholders.Depict desired system and data flows, document data mappings, technical requirements, and work with various stakeholders to identify enhancements, customization, or changes to each sub-system with an end-to-end system integrity and downstream impacts in mind.Use appropriate diagramming, and communication tools to facilitate productive conversations to reach project’s objectives.Ensure alignment with architectural and security standards in partnership with delivery manager.Produce appropriate artifacts with thoroughness, associating systems with business purpose and functionalitySupport project analysis, design, build, and test phases collaborating with design, infrastructure, network, QA and various partners acting as internal SME.Support delivery manager with execution paperwork and ticket process as well as drive building of the execution runbook in collaboration with various partners.Supporting all business requirements including downstream application impacts.The candidate for this position will be able to process information applying critical thinking, and breaking things downThorough understanding of different technology and how that related to business outcomes.This position requires an outgoing, motivated, confident, and ambitious individual. In addition to technical skills, it is expected that the candidate will also possess excellent customer-facing skills (both written and verbal).Skills and Experience You Will NeedRequired:8yrs+, performing the role of BSA within a technology organization in either financial or tech industry.Technical background - preferred if involved in working on E2E website buildsHas worked and led systems analysis on complex waterfall & agile projects requiring integrations between multiple applications & engaging numerous stakeholders.Experience, and emphasis on technology/application/solution analysis for business requirements, flowcharts, and communication.Vizio flowcharting and system/process/data flow diagramming experienceExperience in Credit card functioningExperience and good understanding of flat file formats and, data mapping, API mapping, non-functional requirement handlingAttention to detail and ability to probe/research for accuracy of facts and documentation.Sharp documentation and fact finding, fact checking acumen.Strong experience in end-to-end execution of gap analysis, conversion, and testingExperience with Waterfall and Software Development Lifecycle & related deliverablesExcellent working session facilitation skillsExperience with Agile/JIRAResponsive, confident, and prompt communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyAbility to compartmentalize, and problem solvingDesired:Previous Financial Institution ExperienceApplication specific experience is a plus but not exclusionaryDeveloper/solution engineer/architect background is a plusWho We AreGalaxE is a professional IT services firm that specializes in platform-driven solutions and the use of automation to achieve enterprise business transformation and mission-critical change for some of the largest companies in the world.
