Intuit is looking for a product designer to help mid-market customers with connecting and integrating third-party financial management apps into their QuickBooks Online experience, designed to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance. These designs build our apps overview, transactions, and marketplace experiences. Our goal is for customers to confidently review and resolve any 3P app incoming data.

Our designers are involved at every step of a project—from gathering insights, brainstorming, prototyping and experimentation to launching pixel-perfect designs. And we’re innovating through AI to make every interaction delightfully simple.

What you'll bring

  • Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms

  • Masterful storyteller, able to influence a broad audience by visualizing ideas and concepts for internal leaders, partners and customers

  • Develops customer-backed principles and frameworks. Develops research and data means and measures. Leads with data and experience.

  • Creates a bold vision and strategy for multiple areas in the ecosystem. Can connect the dots across multiple strategies and initiatives to make the largest impact.

  • Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system

  • Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes and prototypes

  • Collaborate effectively with researchers, product management, development, marketing, and other stakeholders, resulting in others learning from you, and inspiring others to want to work with you

  • Participate in and foster the Intuit Experience Design Community and mentor junior members of the design team

How you will lead

  • Design and launch beautiful, usable, and valuable product features

  • Deeply understand the customer you are solving for and advocate for that customer to all stakeholders

  • Collaborate successfully with Product Management, Product Engineering, and other designers

  • Learn fast: Rapidly explore ideas and complex interactions through prototypes

  • Test your hypotheses with end-users and key stakeholders

  • Lead design direction and execution for your work stream
