Intuit Principal, Go-To-Market Strategy Manager, External APIs in Mountain View, California
Overview
Intuit is looking for a highly passionate, customer-obsessed individual and aspiring leader to fill a key position as a Principal, Go-to-Market Strategy for the External APIs business at Intuit. The External APIs business team is looking for a talented and experienced individual who will be responsible for business and go-to-market strategies to build a trajectory-changing business from the ground up. This individual will report to the Director, Business Leader, and External APIs, and will have significant exposure across internal functions and executive teams. This individual will possess an outstanding ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative and analytical approaches.
What you'll bring
7+ years of technology business strategy (ideally including API Products) and go-to-market strategies with a track record of creating multimillion-dollar new business lines including international markets
Experience in API businesses and fintech applications is strongly preferred.
Confident in articulating value propositions, yet able to seamlessly drop into technical details when needed
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to frame new, ambiguous and complex issues; ability to generate insight through rigorous analysis.
Deep understanding of the developer audience and empathy for their day-to-day needs with tools and technologies
Excels at presentation skills with a high level of comfort presenting to senior management when appropriate. Communicate strategic perspectives and recommendations to drive C-suite strategy decisions
Track record of building relationships and influencing senior executives, including C-level, across companies. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Bachelors Degree required, MBA or MS Degree a plus
How you will lead
Deliver integrated GTM plans with validation across API capability teams, security, privacy, legal, compliance, finance, fraud & risk mitigation and other Intuit teams
Develop qualitative and quantitative insights to define product-market fit hypotheses and API product value propositions. Anticipate opportunities and risks.
Conduct user and competitive research to deliver executive-facing business cases that prioritize API capabilities for external developers
Prioritize customer segments and deliver customer target lists for sales pursuit of the identified API Products. Deliver TAM, opportunity size, and order of priority
Business model - Develop innovative business models including channels to markets
International markets analysis - Develop the business case for expanding GTM with prioritized international markets and develop an actionable plan working with internal teams like Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and Finance
Work closely with sales, sales engineering, support, and product management to absorb customer feedback, iterate, and innovate on initial go-to-market strategy
Outline investment and resource allocation to build businesses and new API Product lines
Maintain a pulse on competitive announcements and approaches including exec-facing summaries
Provide ongoing partnership and guidance as internal teams test and operationalize the strategies
Establish and track key success metrics, and ensure resources are allocated effectively
Collaborate closely with product marketing to guide and support the development of GTM assets
