Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
5 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning (AI or ML).
5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in a technology or business related field or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience as a people manager.
Experience building AI/ML systems and large-scale platforms.
Experience delivering goals within timelines.
Ability to collaborate, innovate, and solve ambiguous issues.
Excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills.

This team’s mission is to build the applied AI research and ecosystem to enable fast, repeatable and safe adoption of SotA models from GDM into Google products. By developing an end-to-end platform platform, we aim to simplify these complex processes and serve as a comprehensive hub for AI development.
As the lead PM in this GenAI team, you will have the opportunity to shape how Google products use the power of Generative AI models and technologies to help drive transformative impact to Google businesses.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Lead, develop and manage a team of high performing Product Managers (PMs).
Drive product strategy for end-to-end GenAI workflows.
Drive multi-year roadmap for GenAI workflows and underlying products.
Serve as a recognized authority on AI/ML technologies, advising on their integration and application in various products and solutions.
Build partnership with Google DeepMind (GDM) and Google PAs.
