EUROIMMUN US is seeking a Director of Operations to offer strategic leadership and drive operational excellence to support rapid organizational growth. This multi-faceted role oversees a cross-functional team of approximately 20 members across manufacturing, IT, shipping & logistics, and customer service.
We are looking for an operational leader with a strong business and technical background who can foster innovation, day-to-day execution, and collaboration. This role requires a forward-thinking mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in service, supporting EUROIMMUN's dedication to advancing diagnostics and patient care.
Essential Functions:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the customer service, shipping & logistics, manufacturing, and IT teams, fostering a collaborative environment that ensures seamless performance and upholds EUROIMMUN's standards.
- Drive operational transformation by implementing AI-powered tools and automated workflows to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure alignment with company growth objectives.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for continuous improvement in operational efficiency, cost management, and customer satisfaction, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives and industry best practices.
- Demonstrate subject expertise and an intellectual curiosity for learning for all responsible departments/functional areas.
- Actively partner with QC and QM teams to ensure all operations meet regulatory standards (ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR 820), fostering accountability and proactive quality integration to uphold product excellence
- Develop and implement processes to optimize shipping and logistics operations, including inventory management, forecasting, purchasing, invoicing, and distribution
- Oversee the Customer Service department to ensure excellent customer satisfaction, timely customer support, and improving overall service levels
- Oversee domestic biochip production and lead efforts to stabilize and expand product manufacturing capabilities
- Oversee the IT department, ensuring the effective management of technology infrastructure, systems, and applications to support business operations, while identifying strategic opportunities for IT to support organizational growth while minimizing cybersecurity risks.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement across all departments, encouraging cross-functional teamwork and knowledge sharing

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8-10+ years of experience in diagnostics, life sciences, or other regulated healthcare industries
- 5+ years of direct management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Operational leadership experience of multiple functions
- Understanding of compliance-driven operations
- A master's degree in business administration or operations-related management
- Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent credentials in operational management or quality systems.
- Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage complex, cross-functional projects effectively.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and SAP ERP systems
- Experience successfully supporting MDSAP audits and CAPA resolution
