Monadnock Nonwovens LLC Maintenance Mechanic in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania
* Major Responsibilities*
A. Safe operation of the plant and equipment
B. Continuous maintenance support to ensure machine availability with optimum economy
C. On-call support of resin system
Specific Responsibilities
- Observe all safety rules and utilize proper PPE as required.
- Responsible for performing various types of lubrication tasks.
- Assist with production line resin supply to include filter cleaning.
- Assist with making minor repairs to include light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical (ex. light bulbs and fuses).
- Perform basic preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment and report any findings.
- Cleaning of equipment and building.
- Increase personal knowledge of specific equipment operation so the equipment can be verified/tested after adjustments have been made.
- Completes paperwork correctly and submits in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Attend all training seminars provided by the company (if/when applicable).
- Perform other duties as necessary when directed to do so.

Internal: Production Manager, Process Improvement Manager and all production personnel.
External: N/A
* Manpower Specifications*
- Education and skills:Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent. Able to read, write and speak English.Able to lift 150 lb. bar between two people and comfortably reach 68" overhead. Must be able to respond to audible and visual machine warnings
Extensive mechanical and maintenance technical knowledge. Mechanical aptitude with know-how and a solution-finding outlook. Experienced to work with welding, metal fabrication and basic electrical components to include maintenance of thermocouples, motors, and heaters.
