Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the overall maintenance and functionality of our hotel facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and equipment. From routine maintenance tasks to responding promptly to repair requests, the Maintenance Technician contributes to the smooth operation and upkeep of our property.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, utilizing technical skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
Assist with renovation and improvement projects, collaborating with other departments as necessary.
Uphold safety standards and protocols in all maintenance activities, ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members.
Provide support and assistance to other hotel departments as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Hospitality industry experience a plus.
