Position Summary:
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Central Michigan University seeks one or more fixed-term faculty to teach chemistry and biochemistry labs and/or lectures during the spring 2025 semester.
This one-semester, seven-credit (with the possibility of additional courses being available), benefit eligible appointment begins January 9, 2025.
Benefit-eligible, fixed-term faculty appointed for the spring semester will receive benefits from January 1, 2025 through August 15, 2025.
Required Qualifications:
• MS or PhD in biochemistry or related field. • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching biochemistry lectures and labs.

The CMU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers degrees at the BS and MS level in chemistry and biochemistry. Interdisciplinary PhD degrees are offered with other CMU departments.
