Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Provides professional nursing care to patients and their significant others by adhering to established standards and practices. Coordinates with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care. Assists physicians or other providers, performs telephone triage as needed, and participates in patient teaching.

Hard Skills

• NYS license preferred

• Triage - answering phones

• Clinical questionnaire assessments

• Patient education

• Family medicine, internal medicine, pediatric care, flu clinic

Soft Skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Strong communication skills

• Effective patient and family education techniques

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mount Kisco, New York.

Work Environment

Requires full range of body motion including moving and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
