Job Description:

Microchip is currently seeking an Infrastructure Systems Engineer who specializes in Active Directory to join our global Active Directory team. This individual can design, develop, configure, and implement solutions to resolve complex technical and business issues related to information security, group policy management, identity management, user access authentication, authorization, user provisioning, and role-based access control. The perfect candidate has experience in complex multi-forest multi-domain environments and is comfortable working in PowerShell.

Serve as an SME for Active Directory Domain Services, Kerberos, OU management, PowerShell, etc

Participate in information services, infrastructure and security projects

Provide solutions to resolve issues related to information security, group policy management, identity management, user access authentication, authorization, user provisioning, and role-based access control

Maintain multi-forest, multi-domain environment with an eye towards security and reducing complexity

Work alongside other team members, teams, vendors and customers to provide timely resolutions to AD related issues

Work some nights and weekends as required for critical events affecting production environments

Position may require very occasional travel to other Microchip locations

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience enough to successfully perform the essential duties

10+ years technical project experience designing, developing, integrating, and implementing solutions to resolve complex technical and business issues

10+ years' experience in Active Directory Domain Services management, design and architecture, including testing and troubleshooting of AD environment, health & replication

Coding experience and proficiency in PowerShell

Administration of Windows Servers (2003 and newer)

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

Must be able to perform duties with little to no direct supervision
