You'll be instrumental in supporting female youth aged 14-17 with complex behavioral health challenges, providing strength-based, family-friendly, and trauma-informed services. Your responsibilities will include:Developing and delivering individual and group psycho-educational and life skills activitiesConducting assessments to tailor services to each youth's individual strengths and needsProviding transportation services and reinforcing daily living and socialization skillsServing as a mentor and positive role model for the youthQualifications:We're seeking candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth and who possess the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, Psychology, or CounselingMust have at least one year experience working in a related behavioral health or institutional setting.Ability to engage and empower youth, listen attentively, and offer support and choicesA valid driver's license with a clean standing over the past 6 months is requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsRespect for cultural and human diversityPhysical & Drug Screening, Criminal Record History, FBI, and Child Abuse History Clearances.All new hires are required to successfully complete Safety Crisis Management (SCM) certification within one week of hire.Training Overview:- Duration: The SCM program spans three days.The Ideal Candidate:Understands trauma-informed care and has experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma.Can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Exhibits strong organizational and time management abilities.Holds a valid driver’s license and the capability to transport residents as needed.WHO WE ARE: Crossroads Programs, an affiliate of Apis Services Inc., is a nonprofit 501c3 behavioral health agency celebrating 40 years in service.
