Material Handler, Stanley Access Technologies - Mt Comfort, IN * *

Material Handler

As a Material Handler you will be a key contributor to a vital part of our business - the shipping of commercial automatic secure doors for our commercial business.

This is a first shift position. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 3:30PM.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules

• Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements

• You will align to our value of “be safe, be healthy” by adhering to all safety guidelines and maintaining a clean workspace

• You will be open to learning and working with other cross functional teams to gain new experiences and grow your career

What You Need to Succeed:

• A high school diploma or GED is required

• We also need you to be able to speak, read and write English

• You ideally have 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience, in any of the following disciplines: Quality Auditor, Receiving, Replenishment, Shipping Clerk, Assembly, Order Puller and/or outbound Material Stager

• You should feel comfortable operating an RF scanner and possess some basic computer skills

• We prefer you to be proficient in the use of at least two of the following pieces of equipment: Wrapping Machine, Sit-down Forklift, Standup Forklift, Walkie Rider Pallet Truck, ElF Pallet Truck, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker

• You must have the ability to lift 50 pounds with frequent bending, stooping and lifting

• You also must feel comfortable and have the ability to work in a non- climate-controlled environment

• You must always follow proper safety precautions in this fast-paced warehouse environment
