This position is for a Structural Flux Core Welder with a company in Moss Point, MS.
Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and adhere to the appropriate Weld Procedure for the task at hand. Complete any relevant specific job duties as required by immediate supervision. Move and/or organize material as needed to support production tasks. Proficient in effective operation of welding equipment.
Education and Experience: Must have 6 years of total welding experience with 1 years of flux core welding experience. Must be able to pass written test and a 1inx12in carbon steel single groove ceramic tape test in a 1G, 2G ,3G, and 4G position. Welding PPE. Must have Welding Tools and Shield. Must pass the respirator fit test. 10 PNL drug screen and respirator fit test will be required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to maneuver through the service area functions/seating area. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, twist, lift, push, pull and grip items when necessary. May occasionally lift up to 30 pounds; push, pull, or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Shifts/Hours: Monday -- Saturday 7AM - 5PM. 50-60 hours a week, depends how busy it is.
Pay: $27.00 Up to $1,890 w 60 hours.
