This is a job for a Boxer position with a company located in the Moselle, MS area.
Description: Must be knowledgeable of all SMG-Moselle products to ensure quality and packaging specs meet all specified requirements. Strives for daily production rate goal based on an hourly basis set by the Packaging Tech, Warehouse Lead, or Management. Stacks boxes on boxing machine for appropriate mat. Operates machine to lift and open box. Rolls mat and places into box. Staples box and sends down assembly line. Prints out labels and labels box for stock and customer orders according to specs. Stacks boxes on skid in correct pattern based on specific requirements. Operates hoist to box rolls of applicable materials. Performs visual inspection of products. Performs inventory control duties. Participates in scanned physical inventories as needed. Backs up shipping when needed. Assists in maintaining department in accordance with good housekeeping practices. Observes all safety and environmental procedures. Performs other duties as requested by supervision.
Job Qualifications: Ability to read, write and perform basic math. Must have the ability to focus attention on detail. Must be motivated, organized, and have the ability to coordinate multi and changing priorities while ensuring accuracy and quality. Must be able to lift average weight materials continuously (between 5 and 70) pounds.
Physical Demands: Rarely (0% to 33%). Occasionally (34% to 66%). Frequently (67% to 100%). Rarely sits, reclines, kneels, climbs, balances, or crawls. Occasionally squats and pulls with one hand. Working Conditions: Rarely (0% to 33%). Occasionally (34% to 66%). Frequently (67% to 100%). Rarely deals with the outside, low humidity, wetness, slippery surfaces, vibration, confined space, high elevation, noise, chemical irritant, oil, odors, explosives, electrical hazards, and toxic conditions. Occasionally deals with high temperature, high humidity, and low temperature. Frequently deals with the inside and moving objects.
Equipment Used: This job uses an air stapler, pallet jack, lift table, hoist, boxing machine, band cutters, staple puller, USM Die Press, tape measure, utility knife, computer, printer, and scanner.
