Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Workers for 1st Shift positions. As a Production Worker, you will be involved in the non-butchery production of various meats and deli products. Your responsibilities will include hand sorting products to check for defects, using a bag-filled cup filling machine to deposit products into sealed pouches, and transferring finished pouches to cooking racks. You will also move unfinished products from tubs to belts, place cooked products in trays, boxes, and tubs, and ensure the products are correctly labeled, weighed, and distributed. Additionally, you will combine ingredients and cook soups following the company's recipes.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Morton, Illinois.

Work Environment

You will be working in a climate-controlled facility kept at a crisp 35-45 degrees at all times. We provide lab coats, hair nets, gloves, hard hats, and ear protection to all employees. New employees will start on Wednesday at 10:00 AM with Wellness/HR Training in a classroom setting. Thursday involves Safety/Quality Training with the Safety Manager and some time on the production floor. Friday includes additional floor training and a new hire lunch with activities. Candidates must wear closed-toe shoes. 1st shift positions are available Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays) with start times from 5:00 AM to 6:30 AM.
