Robert Half Software Engineer in Morrisville, North Carolina

Description

We are looking for a dedicated remote Python Developer to join our team. Our Secure Applications Team is part of the Security Engineering within the Security and Trust Organization (S& TO). We are dedicated to improving approaches to Application Security by developing software tools and solutions for significant risk reduction in products. As a Python Developer, you'll be creating technologies that change how clients secure their software and interact with security tools and results. We're searching for engineers passionate about developing software solutions for new security requirements, UI design, and leading in a cloud-native serverless platform offered as a service. Responsibilities:

Develop serverless applications using object-oriented Python development.

  • Work with NoSQL databases for information access and development.

  • Be versatile and display leadership skills.

  • Use DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins.

  • Understand modern UI/UX design and implementation with React.

  • Lead by implementing Agile/Scrum methodologies.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Python, AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, CDK, DocumentDB, CloudFormation), and serverless application development.

  • Skilled in Python libraries (Boto3, Pytest, Requests, Pipenv/venv).

  • Proficiency in JavaScript w/ React (React, ReactJS, JSX).

  • Experience with REST API, containers (Docker).

  • Prior exposure to Web Application Security Scanning and SSL/TLS Experience (SSLyze) will be an advantage.

  • Should possess practical knowledge in CI/CD (Jenkins).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Java 8, Groovy and TypeScript.

  • Familiarity with Openshift and Helm.

  • Understanding of minor Solis AWS services (Batch, CodeDeploy, CloudWatch, SQS, and CloudFront).
