Atlantic Health System Visiting Nurse Services (Hospice) Summer Intern in Morristown, New Jersey
Responsibilities:
Assist hospice bereavement coordinator in planning and organizing summer camp activities.
Attend and support during the camp, managing logistics and on-site needs.
Collaborate for a smooth camp experience, ensuring participant well-being.
Maintain confidentiality and provide compassionate support throughout.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
Be in good academic standing
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2025 - August 2025
Able to attend annual four-day children's bereavement camp (Camp Clover) that will take place during August from the 18th to the 21st.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Extremely organized
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Understand basic clinical knowledge/nursing
Curious and willing to learn
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
