Security Officer

Position: Security Officer

Location: Morristown, NJ

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Saturday-Sunday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Monday-Tuesday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM(32 hours per week total)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer for a specialized facility in Morristown, NJ. The site is a dog training facility , and while no animal handling is required, the candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with dogs and cats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the facility.

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring all visitors and staff are authorized.

• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Observe and report any unusual activity, security concerns, or safety hazards.

• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with staff, visitors, and contractors.

• Adhere to all site-specific security procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

• Must not have allergies to dogs or cats, as the facility houses animals.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior security experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong problem-solving and observational skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Reliable transportation to and from the site.
