We are looking for an Estimator - Planner/Scheduler for our client located at 8805 N. Tabler Rd in Morris, IL who will be responsible for entering estimates into the scheduling software and coordinating with customers and management teams to ensure projects are completed timely and within budget.

Salary range for this position is $34 - $36 hourly, with weekly pay each Thursday. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and other contract documents to identify scope of work and other project specific constraints.

• Perform take-offs to determine quantities needed for developing estimates.

• Effectively communicate any problems or changes with all field personnel, estimating staff, and management.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and other applicable information necessary to develop estimates.

• Develop detailed proposals to effectively identify scope, specifications, qualifications, and other details associated with pricing submissions.

• Perform site walks and analyze drawings/specifications to develop detailed estimates.

• Generate job packages and coordinate w/ field personnel to communicate details of scope, schedule, budget, and other related info.

• Procurement of equipment and materials needed for work.

• Monitor project schedule, quality assurance, and budget.

Qualifications:

• Position requires understanding of Scaffold, Insulation, Coatings, and Asbestos Abatement to be able to walk job scopes, put together bid packages, and coordinate scheduling with management team.

• Willingness to assist in providing field direction when called upon by management.

• Proficient in software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and PDF editing software.

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and stay organized while dealing with numerous bid packages and ongoing projects simultaneously.

• Provide excellent client service.

• 2+ years in construction related industry preferred

• Previous estimating and/or project management experience preferred

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record

• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening

Site requirements:

• English speaking a must (Spanish a plus)

• 50 hours/wk Monday-Friday (some weekend work available)

• Must be flexible to work night shift as needed by Customer

• Per Diem - offered if 75 miles outside of site

• TWIC Card or ability to obtain

• DISA Background/Drug Screen

• Basic Plus orientation (offered upon hiring)

• Site orientation (offered upon hiring)
