Summary:

HFA Service Specialists provides client relationship building partnerships with Advisor(s) and is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington, in terms of the establishment, documentation and maintenance of the relationship.  ​

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day to day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington in terms of establishment, documentation, maintenance and servicing of the relationship, including the Digital Experience. ​

  • Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and building rapport. Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts. ​

  • Works directly with the client and/or relationship manager to obtain financial information or other documentation needed for new accounts, loans and servicing requests. ​

  • Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts. ​

  • Builds an effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel, including branch colleagues.  ​

  • Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts.  ​

  • Researches and resolves complex problems regarding service activities and operational issues.  ​

  • Assists the Advisors by processing and maintaining documentation, resolving discrepancies, and preparing for meetings and presentations.  ​

  • Prepares various internal reports, memos and correspondence.  ​

  • Maintains up to date knowledge of products, services, departmental systems and related technology, Digital Experience, policies and procedures. ​

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience within Investments/Financial Services

  • Minimum of 9 months of customer service experience within Investments/Financial Services

  • Series 6, Series 63, and Life and Health license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with investment acumen, including investment products, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Ability to create and foster strong partnerships with business partners, working independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated high degree of initiative and accountability.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adaptive to change.
