The Supervisor Medical Dosimetrists is responsible for providing supervision, guidance, and credentialing of all dosimetrists on existing and new procedures. In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, delegating and performing patient specific medical dosimetry tasks and ensuring adequate dosimetry coverage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy Technology, Medical Dosimetry or related field. 2. Current Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MCDB) 3. West Virginia state criminal background check required, and Federal, if applicable, for DHHR BMS regulated area. EXPERIENCE: 1. Five (5) years of experience in a clinical environment performing Dosimetry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Advance Professional Degree (MHA, MBA). 2. Knowledge of coding/billing of medical dosimetry procedures. EXPERIENCE: 1. Eight (8) years of experience in a clinical environment performing Dosimetry at a University/teaching institution. 2. Experience with advanced software such as RapidPlan, MIMS, RadCalc. 3. Previous leadership or management experience.

Serves as liaison between dosimetry, physics, physicians, simulation therapists, staff therapists and other staff within the department. 2. Directly supervises the medical dosimetrists to include scheduled time off, performance evaluations, as well as major input into hiring, discipline and termination of medical dosimetry staff. Provides input to the Chief Medical Physicist regarding the performance of the medical dosimetry staff. 3. Continuously monitors and assigns workload appropriately and fairly to direct reports and ensures optimal productivity and quality is achieved. Documents workload in order to evaluate the need for additional staffing. 4. Maintains the accuracy of all treatment parameters and prescription data in Record/Verify (R/V) system. Serves as super-user for dosimetry, maintains and enforces data integrity, and ensures maximum utilization of application from direct reports. 5.
