Description
Shop Foreman provides daily interaction with technician providing daily scheduled workload, oversight for leadership, quality and feedback on timing of individual repairs.
Responsibilities:
Supervises hourly personnel
Works off Planner to organize daily schedule with mechanics
Works with Service Writers for priorities and any changes to equipment
Reviews and verifies part/service requests on KTC equipment
Accountableto missed or late work orders work with mechanics to review job time and complete orders
Communicates with Drivers and Dispatch regarding the status and progress of repair orders
Provides Professional Interface with Customers always representing Page.
Oversees new hire training program for mechanics and supports ongoing training for existing staff
The Forman is required to be a State and Federal Inspector and have the ability to perform all repairs needed as well as perform all repairs that the staff they are supervising.
