Summary:

Responsibility for manufacturing Improvement projects, as well as modifications due to customer requirements for new launches and line readiness.

Core Responsibilities

  • Technologists apply engineering principles in the implementation or modification of products, systems, and processes.

  • Activities include but are not limited to, identifying, and recommending improvements/preventative actions, inspecting, testing, maintaining repairing, and installing equipment and systems.

  • This role requires supplier coordination, working on quotes and implementation by monitoring day-to-day work progress for a project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports. Tracking and analyzing field results. Make comparisons between planned progress and actual progress and report any differences.

  • Monitors processes, estimates costs, makes, or verifies calculations, analyzes and interprets data.

  • Tests new and modified equipment, products, and/or systems.

  • Provide guidance and deliver schedules to facilitate project execution strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technologies

  • Knowledge of high volume manufacturing operations

  • Communication skills

  • Some knowledge of TS16949, quality system principles.

  • Intermediate Computer Skills

  • Basic Problem solving skills

  • Project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • Knowledge of programming, troubleshooting, and installation of PLC/IPC controls,

  • Advanced computer skills, PLC/IPC skills

  • Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Pneumatic proficiency,

  • Proficient in programming, troubleshooting, and installation of intelligent Vision inspection applications,

  • Project management experience
