Where You Will Work
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Description
Under direct supervision, perform multiple roles that may include Front Desk Attendant, Barista, Party Room Attendant, Indoor Play Attendant, Concessions Attendant, Recreation Assistant, Rock Climbing Attendant, or Fitness Room Attendant.
Maintain positive customer service in their respective area
Manage and maintain equipment in their respective areas assigned
Assist and implement in all aspects of recreation programming
Handle registration including cash handling, reservations, membership management, assisting public, and answering telephones
Maintain supervision and safety in area of responsibility
Remain current with all certifications, trends in industry, and safety standards
Provide care, constant attention, and supervision to children within the respective area assigned
Promote a marketing plan for the ongoing development of the Recreation Center
Conform to established program budget(s), monitor expenditures, and provide assistance for budget development and cost control activities
Maintain accurate records of inventory and resolve discrepancies when they occur
Perform food handling and services in public establishment
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Must be able to obtain position specific certifications within one (1) month of employment including AED, First Aid, CPR, Food Handlers
Knowledge of and ability to apply marketing practices
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
Ability to maintain positive community and working relationships
Competency in the use of MS Office Software
Preferred
May be hiring for full-time and/or part-time positions based upon business needs
Positions may be located at either Morenci Recreation Center and/or Clifton Gym and may include Front Desk Attendant, Barista, Party Room Attendant, Indoor Play Attendant, Concessions Attendant, Recreation Assistant, Rock Climbing Attendant, or Fitness Room Attendant
Must be willing and able to work alternative work schedules that may vary depending on business needs (days, nights, weekends, holidays, scheduled/unscheduled additional work hours)
Excellent customer service skills
Experience working with a cash register, taking payment and making accurate change
Ability to balance a cash drawer
Experience working in fitness, recreation, and/or care-giving environments
Food Handler's Certification
High School diploma or GED
Criteria/Conditions
Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
Work is performed in an indoor setting, aquatic environment, or outdoor setting

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $15.00 - $19.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
