You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety. You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them. Manages the bake shop and makes sure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently as well as the scheduling and productivity of the employees. Ensures their work area is kept in a neat, clean and orderly condition according to federal health policies and standards.

The Chef de Partie responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for all baking and pastry operations – includes planning, scheduling, organizing and directing work, training personnel, and recommending applicants for employment or for discipline, termination or retention.

  • Liaises with Location chefs of other properties for daily requirements.

  • Produce and maintain all standard recipes and use records for restaurant service staff and kitchen personnel

  • Liaises with other Sous chefs to organize daily timely meals – quality, taste and presentation.

  • Inspects daily cafeteria to insure proper health and sanitation standards are maintained.

  • Ensure all the coolers and walk ins are kept to company’s food safety standards

  • Teaches and enforces safety regulations.

  • Conducts equipment and skills training as and when needed.

  • Supervises cleaning of facilities and equipment.

  • Ensures supplies and food items are replenished and, as needed, inventoried for daily operations during scheduled store room operation hours.

  • Conducts internal food safety audit once a week

  • Schedule, Monitor accuracy of employee clock in and clock out times for schedules shift/s.

  • Help other departments when need arises

  • Attend all trainings and classes as assigned or advised by supervisor.

  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or Senior Management

The “must haves” for this position include:

  • 1-year minimum of Pastry Chef experience

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

  • Supervisory experience

  • Multi-outlet resort experience

  • Knowledge of advance pastry techniques, cake decorating, breads and doughs

  • High volume production

The expected pay range is $20.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
