Job Overview

As the Project Manager, the incumbent will spearhead mortgage loan servicing transfers comprehensively. They will ensure a seamless and compliant transfer for internal and external stakeholders. A solid understanding of mortgage servicing, project oversight and regulatory compliance is essential for success in this role.

A Typical Day

The Project Manager will prepare, coordinate, and manage servicing transfer project activities with management, internal business partners and external clients. As the Project Manager , you will manage and maintain the project rigor and assist in the facilitation of initiatives via planning, reporting, change management and expediting delivery of line of business projects.

The Project Manager responsbilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for each servicing transfer.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the transfer process, including internal departments, investors, borrowers, and third-party vendors.

  • Ensure all servicing transfer activities adhere to regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and company policies.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions during the transfer process.

  • Proactively address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the transfer process

  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issue resolution.

  • Monitor post-transfer activities to ensure a seamless transition and address any outstanding issues.

  • Analyze transfer processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.

  • Participate in the analysis, design, training, testing, implementation and support of targeted solutions

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in mortgage loan servicing, with a focus on servicing transfers or project management.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonalskills. Proficient in data analysis and reporting.

  • Proficient in Google Sheets and Slides

  • Familiar with Snowflake

  • Financial Services and Mortgage industry experience preferred

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

  • Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

  • Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
