Job Summary/Basic Function The primary responsibility of this position is to provide customer service to Dining Services customers by controlling access to the dining room and collecting payment for meals. This includes welcoming and greeting guests and treating them with care and respect. It also includes helping with dining room cleanliness, setting up food stations, and replenishing food and supplies. Position Responsibilities 1. Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and demonstrate the competencies as defined for this position. 2. Welcome customers and guests to the dining center and provide customer service to meet the needs and requests of our guests by collecting payment for access to the dining center via meal plans, cash payment, or other forms of tender 55% 3. Uphold Dining Service policies and procedures and provide for the security of the dining room and our guests 15% 4. Clean tables, replenish supplies, and other duties between meal periods 15% 5. Work with student employees, co-workers, and management in student employee recruitment and retention. Other duties as assigned 5% 6. Set up Fresh & Fillings stations on Saturday and Sunday morning to be ready to open.
