I.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for conducting all the required laboratory tests on raw, in-process, and finished materials on assigned shift as directed. Responsible for monitoring and recording all production and notifying appropriate personnel of out-of-control conditions.II.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB1.Set up test equipment and conduct tests for stated criteria involving raw materials, adhesives, work-in-process and finished products.2.Adjust paper adhesives batches based on proper ratio of tackifier to rubber.3.Audit all production to insure proper usage of chemicals, films and papers as well as advise operators of out-of-specification conditions. Work with machine operators to correct problems (via processing adjustments, etc.)4.Record all test and audit results and enter into the appropriate computer.5.Test rejected material.6.Perform testing for R & D trial runs. Maintain R & D trial run files.7.Check, record and adjust all test and environmental equipment.8.Conduct an audit of product being converted on all slitters, at least once per shift.9.Perform other duties as assigned.
