Calgon Carbon Corp. Mechanical Engineer I in Moon, Pennsylvania

Position: Mechanical Engineer I

Hours of work: Mondays - Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hours/Week

Mechanical Engineer I responsible for designs of current products, minor calculations, contacting vendors for quotes. Duties and Responsibilities not limited to

  • Working with current designs through the use of AutoCAD 3D
  • Performing minor calculations such as weights
  • Using existing spreadsheets for the completion of calculations
  • Copying and completing datasheets for parts procurement
  • Assist designers to obtain 3D vendor drawings of parts
  • Creates 3D Models from existing equipment for submittals to the Client
  • Organizing specifications and drawings in the proper place for Engineering team to review
  • Assist in creating/copying proposal drawings on time
  • Answering minor questions on equipment design

Qualifications

  • Associates degree A.A., or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required
  • Bachelors degree B.A. or B.S., or equivalent from four-year college or university is preferred
  • 0-2 years Engineering experience is required
  • 1 year of working in an Engineering environment is preferred
