Montrose Tire & Brake Diesel Mechanic in Montrose, Colorado
POSITION TITLE: Diesel Mechanic
DUTIES: Diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy duty diesel vehicles/engines. Perform vehicle maintenance and safety inspections following FMVSS guidelines and industry best practices. Work individually or as a team, with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks.
REQUIREMENTS: -Previous experience as a diesel technician/mechanic (2 years preferred) -Experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic engine controls, emissions systems, air and hydraulic brakes systems, drivetrain, electrical, hydraulic systems and all related components. -Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment -Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills -Have time management and detail-oriented skills -Ownership of basic hand/power tools (all specialty and diagnostics tools are provided by shop for shop use) -Must be able to read, write, and speak English -Must have and maintain a valid CO driver's license in order to move vehicles (no CDL required)

WAGE: $20.00 - $35.00/ Hour
SHIFT: -Full-time,40 hours per week. Monday through Friday - 8 hour shift (days) -Overtime available
