POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Platforms Administrator with a passion for CICD to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering and optimizing a variety of development platforms and tools. You will be responsible for managing our primary platforms, developing custom integrations, and automating processes as you support our development teams directly.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Administer and maintain:
Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards)
Nexus Repository Manager, Nexus Lifecycle/IQ
Axify, ConfigCat, SonarQube, Docker, and Checkmarx.
Develop custom Azure Pipeline tasks using TypeScript to integrate with other platforms.
Create and maintain automation scripts and integrations in TypeScript, C#, Python, and PowerShell to streamline development processes.
Provide support and guidance to development teams on best practices and usage of ALM tools.
Develop, improve and maintain our service catalog portal to offer a self-service experience to our users.
Monitor platform performance and implement improvements to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
Develop standards, guidelines and best practices for pipelines, automation, deployment, and agile work practices.
Develop reporting and dashboards using PowerBI for teams using Azure DevOps.
Install, maintain, upgrade, and deploy ALM platforms.
Administer the infrastructure for platform deployment and manage Ansible scripts for infrastructure automation.
Support development teams with their pipeline needs and provide expert guidance.
Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipeline agent images (both Docker images and Packer VM images) for Windows and Linux with the necessary tooling for building, testing, and deploying applications.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in administering and managing Azure DevOps, Nexus Repository Manager, Nexus Lifecycle/IQ, SonarQube, Docker, and Checkmarx.
Experience developing custom Azure Pipeline tasks and automation scripts. (Powershell, Typescript, Python)
Expert knowledge with CI/CD practices and tools, most specifically with Azure Devops Pipelines
Experience with PowerBI and developing dashboards and reports.
Experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with infrastructure administration and Ansible scripting.
Experience building and maintaining Docker images and Packer VM images for CI/CD pipelines.
