Based out of Montreal, you’ll have the opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams to contribute directly to all phases of government and privately-owned infrastructure projects. Responsibilities of the Role:
Manage deliverables processes, in a digital project delivery setting, for the Permits, Licences, Approvals (PLA) teams as follows:
Manage deliverables list development and updates
Work with Leadership teams to confirm timing and logistics for all PLA and Environmental deliverables
Communicate deliverable timing and logistics to the Environmental and PLA teams,
Manage PLA deliverables through the review processes including reviews and responding to comments
Hands on involvement in PLA team activities including:
Tracking and resolution of permit-related issues and actions
Collaborating within the teams to identify permitting triggers, confirm permit submission timing and submission requirements, develop, and improve processes and resolve issues/ roadblocks
Managing and coordinating updates to Permits Register
Coordinating technical inputs to multi-disciplinary PLAs (such as bridge modification and grade separation agreements)
Coordinating with Systems Assurance team for Third Party Interface Control processes and documentation
Post-secondary degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or Civil Engineering
Three to five years relevant experience
Demonstrated superior analytical, organizational, time and project management skills.
Effective interpersonal skills must establish good working relationships with stakeholders and permitting authorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio software
Self-starter - who works to identify and resolve issues, follow-up on actions and achieve deadlines.
Previous experience on major infrastructure projects preferred.
Knowledge of alternative project delivery methods, including design-build and progressive design build an asset.
Bi-lingual is an asset
Must have driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
Experience in a variety of project delivery models considered an asset
