We’re seeking three positions for Impact Assessment Coordinator, Impact Assessment Data Coordinator and Impact Assessment Data Lead. Based out of Montreal, you’ll have the opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams to contribute directly to all phases of government and privately-owned infrastructure projects. Some Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Shall perform duties and tasks in support of the Impact Assessment Manager to meet the requirements outlined in the Pre-Development Agreement, including Appendix 5-13 Impact Assessment Requirements, to ensure, among other things, thorough and successful completion of all the responsibilities, activities and obligations of the Private Developer Partner with regards to the Impact Assessment.
Participate in ensuring the Impact Assessment deliverables are completed and prepared on time such as the Initial Project Description, Detailed Project Description and Impact Statement including coordination of contributing disciplines.
Coordinate with interfacing functions and directorates such as Permits, Licenses and Approvals to ensure effective communications of progress.
Ensure close collaboration with the Scheduling team providing timely and accurate updates on the schedule.
Support in the development of understanding of the IA process and requirements across the integrated Project team.
Set the framework and processes to ensure data capture in line with the requirements of the Impact Assessment
Liaise with GIS & Environmental disciplines to verify data criterion, methodologies for data capture and processing
Manage, process and analyze spatial data, including data collected by field surveys, as well as proof-reading metadata
Undertake data cataloguing, including documentation of metadata, and disseminating data across teams to inform decision-making to support alignment development
Bachelor's degree in environment, related field or equivalent experience
Minimum five years of applicable experience
Experience with Impact Assessments under the IAA, the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012, or other relevant federal environmental assessment processes, and managing environmental assessments associated with large and linear infrastructure projects.
Experience in incorporating Indigenous participation and Indigenous Knowledge into their work.
Experience of coordinating multiple disciplines/stakeholder input to achieve timely outputs.
Bi-lingual is an asset
Must have driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
Experience in a variety of project delivery models considered an asset
