We are currently looking for a qualified Financial Analyst to join the Lundbeck Finance team. This is a permanent full-time joblocated at our head office in Ville Saint-Laurent, reporting to the Finance Director.

As a Financial Analyst, reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will be a key driver of our organization’s success. You will be responsible for managing budgets , analyzing monthly results , and overseeing the order-to-cash process . These are all critical aspects of our organization, and your contributions will be instrumental in driving our growth and success. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget, QEs, and financial projections in partnership with the lines of businesses and Head of Finance.

  • Prepare monthly sales adjustments and provisions (PLA, other sales deductions, etc). Liaise with BI and Market Access to ensure any relevant access assumptions are accurately accounted for in the sales adjustments forecast.

  • Coordinate expenses (product and non-product related) with key stakeholders by owning the accrual process as well as the Alliance cross charges and true ups. Provide timely tracking and expense analysis to ensure teams are well informed of the status of their budget and can execute according to the plans communicated to senior management.

  • Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual variance between actuals and latest projection for cost centers in a comprehensive way and reflecting an understanding of the underlying drivers for such deviations.

  • Analyze the monthly cash flow and liaise with the corporate Treasury department.

  • Support sales tax reporting, tax installments, transfer pricing as well as tax audits with the Finance Director.

  • Oversee the Order to cash process with the 3PL party: approve credit limit and returns, review bank and AR reconciliations, prepare balance sheet analysis.

  • Apply accounting rules and determine implications for the business (revenue recognition, opex management - Technical knowledge required).

  • Complete various ad hoc projects and initiatives dealing with cost/benefit analysis, process improvements, simplification initiatives; and local or regional head office needs, as well as maintain and develop various financial reports to support analysis.

Job Requirements / Desired qualifications

  • 5+ of relevant experience in Finance related role.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and solid business experience/acumen.

  • Advanced knowledge of software such as Excel, PowerPoint

  • Bilingual (French and English), preferred

  • Experience with SAP ERP and SAC tool an asset

  • Bachelor of Commerce

  • Professional accounting/finance designation (CPA)
