Pay Rate: $16.50/hr. without benefits

Work hours: 06:00 am - 02:00 pm / 11:00 - 07:00 pm (Monday through Friday)
Job Description:
Under the direction of a higher level employee, Food Service Workers 1 perform a variety of activities related to the storage, preparation and service of food:
- Wash food service equipment, including garbage cans and general kitchen cooking utensils, by hand and machine, using a variety of cleaning substances;
- Wash storage areas, including food preparation areas, by hand and machine using a variety of cleaning substances;
- Store deliveries in appropriate storage areas;
- Bring food and other supplies to preparation and serving areas as directed;
- Clean fruits, vegetables, and potatoes in preparation for cooking as directed;
- Ensure students on special diets receive proper food and portions; and pay attention to food allergies
- Wash and sanitize dining room areas including chairs, tables, and floors.
- Various duties as assigned.
