Customer Account Specialist

Summary

This position is responsible for providing extraordinary customer service in a timely and accurate manner. You will need to utilize excellent communication skills, time management skills, computer skills, corresponding effectively in all customer interactions.

Essential Duties:

• Update ERP system with weekly demand provided by customer
• Review all new Purchase Orders for accuracy prior to entering
• Acknowledge/re-acknowledge customer orders
• Solicit/maintain 12 month forecast
• Function as the primary point-of-contact for the company regarding customer inquiries, i.e., order status, pricing
• Work in customer portals; download updated release and submit ASN information etc.
• Communicate effectively, both internally and externally, through phone/email
• Perform other required tasks as assigned

Knowledge and Skills Summary:

• Initiative-taking and ability to work in a team environment
• 2 year's Manufacturing experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to deliver a high level of customer service and proven history of following through with assignments.
• Strong computer skills

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Monday through Friday

Job Type

• Full time, non-exempt position

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED
