Forklift Operator - Shipping, Monticello, AR
Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Forklift Operator - Shipping in Monticello, AR . Starting rate for this position is $21.33 per hour with the potential to grow based on skill level and experience.
What You'll Do
Accurately and safely loading and unloading semi-trucks with materials.
Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse area; clean up in shipping areas.
Identifying problem lumber units and correcting said problems.
Daily forklift inspections (PM’s) in order to identify issues with their lift; also clean lift so as to identify problem areas.
Have a basic understanding of lumber grades.
Helping to wrap lumber in preparation for shipment.
Fill in as needed in planer mill outfeed area.
Maintain operation of forklift in all shipping areas in a safe way.
Help maintain an orderly and organized lumber warehouse.
Loading and tarping rail cars.
Physical Requirements: Walking, Bending, and Lifting (Up to 50 lbs).
What You Offer
Knowledge of lumber grades.
Forklift certified.
2-3 years Forklift experience.
High School education or GED equivalent preferred.
