We have partnered with a stable, manufacturing company on their search for an Accounting Supervisor/Manager with strong communication skills and solid knowledge of GAAP accounting standards. In this role, you will lead the finance team in ensuring that accurate financial records are maintained and compliant with generally accepted accounting principles. This Accounting Supervisor/Manager will also be responsible for managing the financial close process, verifying account reconciliations, reviewing and preparing annual budgets, assisting with tax compliance, preparing monthly balance sheets and income statements, tracking and resolving cash flow inquiries, and conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

· Review and assist with budget reports

· Analyze financial data

· Reconcile general ledger

· Assist with month end close

· Maintain a system of accounting policies and procedures

· Review inventory subledgers

· Daily cash flow management

· Reconcile fixed assets

· Bank Reconciliations

· Prepare financial statements

· Recommend improvements to accounting procedures

Requirements

The ideal Accounting Supervisor/Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Accounting Supervisor/Manager role include and are not limited to:

· 7+ years of accounting experience/supervisory experience

· CPA a plus

· Manufacturing experience strongly preferred

· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)

· Dynamics experience strongly preferred
