Acxiom Senior Decision Support Analyst - Platform Activation Rewards Program in Montgomery, Alabama
This Senior Decision Support Analyst role will serve as the Platform Activation Specialist for a rewards program for our client. The Sr. DSA will oversee critical components of the client’s campaign management operations process, including program coding, data analysis, and the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns. This position requires a deep understanding of marketing data environments, relational databases, and advanced programming in Python. The Sr. DSA will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of campaign data, developing custom reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize targeting strategies. Additionally, the role involves driving process improvements, maintaining compliance with data security standards, and delivering actionable insights to meet business objectives.
What You Will Do:
Serve as a key contact for business partners in defining solutions through campaign management and business intelligence tools.
Write and execute program codes using Python within the client’s secure platform to support campaign processing and reporting.
Ensure the delivery of cleansed, segmented, and ready-to-market data by understanding and leveraging the client’s marketing data environments.
Analyze data and processes to measure and improve campaign efficiency, data accuracy, and operational performance.
Conduct post-release validation and approve production output datasets in collaboration with Campaign Management Leads.
Develop custom reports and audit sampling for targeted offers and audience testing to support business objectives.
Guide stakeholders on optimizing data targeting and output through suppressions and deduplication in campaign programs.
Troubleshoot and manage application updates, code changes, and data processing issues in partnership with IT and product teams.
Drive and document best practices, process improvements, and standard procedures for campaign execution.
Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, from code design to final offer tracking, auditing, and reporting.
Maintain compliance with established procedures, service level agreements, and data security standards.
What You Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
Advanced knowledge of Python programming and relational database structures.
Strong expertise in solution management, campaign management tools, and business intelligence tools.
Knowledge of data security and compliance practices, including GLBA requirements.
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues and deliver actionable insights.
Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, auditing, and operational efficiency.
What Will Set You Apart:
Familiarity with tools and technologies such as SQL/PL-SQL, shell scripting, ETL tools, UNIX/Linux environments, and Adobe Campaign.
Experience with data warehouse structures and campaign execution in a loyalty rewards program context.
Strong understanding of best practices in analytics, reporting, and campaign performance evaluation.
Proven ability to collaborate with IT and product teams on system integrations and process automation.
Additional Information:
