Description:
Join a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming as a Technical Program Manager. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms for personalized content recommendations.
Duration: 6+ month contract
100% remote, East Coast preferred

Rate: $85 - $90 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Program Manager, you will coordinate resources, drive communication, and ensure efficient delivery of programs. You will act as a liaison between Product and Engineering teams, aligning technical roadmaps and delivering top-tier software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Support engineering and product teams with program management and coordination.
Define and manage schedules, resources, milestones, and releases.
Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders, including executives.
Conduct risk analysis and communicate management plans.
Build relationships across teams and serve as an end-to-end liaison.
Contribute to a team of Technical Program Managers and lead large-scale program delivery.
Educate partner teams on agile best practices.
Experience Requirements:
Required Skills:
7+ years as a Technical Program Manager or equivalent experience in media, technology, or consumer software.
Experience with scalable agile processes and change management.
Strong knowledge of consumer application development and SDLC.
Proven leadership in managing large teams on complex projects.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with distributed, remote, or global teams.
Familiarity with backend services, data schemas, and API contracts.
Proficiency with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to educate, build trust, and foster strong relationships.
Experience in the media entertainment industry, especially streaming services.
Knowledge of Machine Learning, cloud computing, and full-stack development.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and analytics tools.
Programming experience in Python, SQL, or JVM languages.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree required
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
