Our client, a leading industrial company, is seeking an Auto Body Worker to join their team. As an Auto Body Worker , you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the installation and maintenance of police vehicle equipment. The ideal candidate will understand basic automotive electrical wiring and installation of various equipment and be willing to perform work in a non-air conditioned and/or outdoor environment.

Job Title: Auto Body Worker

Location: Montgomery

Pay Range: $20hr

(This is a DIRECT HIRE position, and a resume is required to apply.)

What's the Job?

• Disassemble automotive trim and reinstall without damage.

• Disassemble automotive body panels, bumper covers, etc., and reinstall without damage.

• Perform factory like installations of perimeter lighting, lightbars, siren controllers and speakers.

• Perform quality installations of push bumpers, vehicle partitions, vehicle storage boxes, computer docking stations, and other police vehicle related equipment.

What's Needed?

• This position requires the skills and knowledge normally obtained through the successful completion of a high school degree, GED or equivalent.

• Tools required for installation of safety related vehicle equipment to include but not limited to wire strippers, crimpers, socket sets, wrenches, pliers, cutters, electric driver, drills, and ratchets.

• This position requires standing & bending throughout the workday.

• Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Willingness to perform work in a non-air conditioned and/or outdoor environment.
