Summary
Performs end-to-end recruitment services for internal stakeholders. Recruits for open requisitions as assigned by direct manager. Collaborates with hiring manager and HRBP to attract and identify top talent to Celestica. Reviews applications, sources new candidates, screens candidates and negotiates offers.
Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Drives the development and execution of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the site's business goals and the global talent strategy. Considering a scope for external recruitment and internal selection processes.
Builds and maintains a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs, utilizing innovative sourcing and engagement strategies.
Leverages talent analytics and metrics to inform strategy, evaluate effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
Cultivates a strong employer brand that resonates with top talent and positions Celestica as an employer of choice.
Collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to understand talent needs and ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process.
Provides expert consultation and guidance on talent acquisition best practices, policies, and procedures.
Provides leadership and guidance to junior talent acquisition staff, fostering a high-performing and engaged team.
Ensures alignment with global resourcing strategies, goals, and standards, contributing to a cohesive global talent acquisition function.
Leads and supports change initiatives related to talent acquisition processes, technology, and strategy.
Develops the overall resourcing strategy for the site, from both a recruitment and internal staffing perspective and may provide leadership and guidance to junior resourcing staff.
Acts as the functional expert and consultant to both HR and hiring managers in the region on all resourcing initiatives which impact Celestica's ability to attract and retain high calibre employees.
Ensures that monthly resourcing reports are rolled up to the appropriate regional level for consolidation globally.
Align the team's activities with the overall talent acquisition strategy, defining clear performance expectations and metrics for success.
Encourage knowledge-sharing, innovation, and a learning mindset within the team.
Manage workload distribution, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and balanced workloads across the team .
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
Sound knowledge of government legislation impacting the practice of human resources management.
Sound knowledge of the company HR policies and practices, particularly the global and regional staffing policies.
Ability to consult with a wide variety of internal customers and provide an end-to-end resourcing service.
Ability to develop appropriate staffing strategies for a variety of needs including recruitment projects for a whole unit or division, as well as assisting individual managers with open positions up to and including Manager levels.
Ability to conduct thorough behavioral interviews up to and including Manager levels.
Ability to project manage and time manage effectively to ensure timely closure of open positions.
Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio and Applicant Tracking software.
Intermediate level of proficiency in most of the Personal Attributes and Interpersonal Competencies, as well as intermediate proficiency in two Business Competencies, Project Management and Organizational Awareness (refer to the Celestica Competency Framework)
Physical Demands
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Occasional travel may be required.
Typical Experience
7-10 years of recruiting or relative experience required
Typical Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
