Duties: Develop new drink menu for season and train staff in execution. Participate as needed in preparation or service of drinks. Prepare work schedules of and oversee work of 2-3 other bartenders including ensuring adherence to health and safety rules, ensuring cleanliness of bar and that drinks are prepared properly, resolving customer issues, ensuring that bartenders are requesting identification from customers and serving customers responsibly. Will also manage drink inventory and oversee point of sale system and collection of money from customers. Standing for prolonged periods, lifting.
No minimum education requirement. 1 year experience required as Bar captain, Bartender, or related role. Willing to accept a trainee.
Wage: $25.88 per hour. Overtime is available at $38.82 per hour.
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work days and shift hours vary.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Optional cost of housing and utilities, if accepted, is $138.95 per week. Employer offers 3 meals per day at no charge to the employee.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
Employer to provide and launder company-specific uniforms at no cost to the employee.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
