MIG Welder
We are searching for a welder that can work in a fast paced production environment.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm; Optional Saturdays 7am-11:30am.
Payrate: $19

About the company: An industry leader in the design and manufacturing of returnable racks and dunnage.
The MIG Welder is responsible for this position will be responsible for production line MIG welding
- Welders fabricate and assemble metal structures through the use of weld machines, equipment, and measuring tools.
- The incumbent will produce products according to customer or employer specifications. The incumbent will set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment for optimal performance and safety.
- The incumbent must maintain a good working relationship with fellow workers and customers.
- This position is responsible to have and maintain the ability to accomplish a task while holding the ability to notice inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility.
- The incumbent will complete daily progress sheets to record accomplished work.
- This role will maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Qualifications:
- Some machine maintenance or mechanical experience, ability to follow standard operating procedures
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience:
- Entry to Mid level = 1 - 3 years of welding experience
- Experience using hand and power tools, required.
- Experience operating mobile equipment, preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Must be able to pass a weld test.
- Welding Certificate, a plus

- Basic math skills

- Understand verbal and written instructions
