Job Summary: Wires machines, panel equipment and their subassemblies following layouts, electrical circuits and other written and verbal specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, comprehend and interpret Wiring diagrams.
- Understand and support Company philosophies, goals and directions including ISO 9001 and 14001 policies and procedures.
- Job report labor correctly and in a timely manner.
- Safely apply material handling processes.
- Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Possess working knowledge of standard and special tooling.
- Set the department / area standards in areas of housekeeping, attendance and teamwork by example.
- Perform all wiring operations.
- Know, understand and use the Missing Parts System.
- Recognize problems with electrical designs and parts and take appropriate corrective action
- Perform prototype work with limited Engineering and minimal supervision (wiring routing and hardware layout)
- Perform and / or oversee machine installations in the field. (electrical)
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school: or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
