JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Beaver seeks an Enrollment Services Specialist to provide support for current and prospective students regarding financial aid and admissions. Penn State Beaver is a residential Commonwealth campus of Penn State University, serving students from local, national, and international communities. The campus is committed to a diverse student body, cultural inclusiveness, and equitable experiences for all students.
The successful candidate will:
Serve as the point-of-contact for admissions and student aid questions
Provide advice and guidance on the policies and procedures related to the admissions application and FAFSA
Troubleshoot admissions and financial aid problems and assist with aid verifications
Manage communications including phone, email, and mail
Coordinate admissions and financial aid events
Hire, train and manage student workers
Order supplies, manage inventory and pay invoices
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience with customer-relationship management (CRM) system, student information system, and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is helpful. The successful candidate must possess:
Strong communication skills
The ability to explain complex instructions in an easy-to-understand manner
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Commitment to teamwork
Strong time-management and organizational skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
This position requires an associate degree or higher plus 2 years of experience in a professional environment working with the public, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The position also requires:
PA State Police Criminal Background Check
PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties.
A valid driver's license is required
Fluency in Spanish

$42,100.00 - $61,000.00
