Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Sense & Warn (S&W) Deputy Country Lead (OCONUS) to join our team in an OCONUS location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Sense & Warn (S&W) Deputy Country Lead (OCONUS) (DCL) is a subject matter expert and assists with coordinating the OCONUS S&W Program for an assigned region or country

  • The DCL directly reports to and assists the Regional Manager (RM) in implementing technical projects, personnel and technical performance management, administrative requirements, and schedules

  • The DCL performs the duties of the RM when the RM is absent and any additional management duties as required

  • The DCL conducts horizontal and vertical planning with US Government personnel, contractors, and foreign counterparts to meet performance requirements

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide guidance and supervision to S&W resources

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The position requires five (5) years of experience or equivalent work with or supporting a combination of the following: US DOD radar sensors, Counter-Rocket Artillery Mortar (C-RAM) systems, C-NET, emergency notification systems (ENS), (C2) systems, or a system within the ABCS suite

  • The position also requires working knowledge of: DOS or DOD training and maintenance processes, personnel management, conflict resolution, performance management, written and oral communications management, logistical sustainment, and attendance at scheduled and ad-hoc meetings

  • Responsibilities include: conducting researching and development; performing independent qualitative and quantitative analysis; reviewing and meeting staffing and manning requirements; developing primary and alternative courses of action to solve problems; coordinating products and plans that ensure functional, operational, and systems integration of the S&W systems and program; attending scheduled and ad-hoc meetings; and developing and tracking logistical requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Position is full-time overseas in high-threat and austere locations

  • Travel to various sites within assigned locations using customer-provided transportation is required as directed by the S&W Management Team

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current US Government Secret Personnel Security Clearance

  • A Top Secret clearance may be required to meet changing requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Mainly works in an indoor office environment- uses a computer and other office equipment and moves about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc

  • Communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
