Stanford Engineering Internship Program (3 Months)

A Taste of What You’ll Do

Are you a Chemical Engineering student at Stanford University? If so, our Internship Program offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience at a world-class research and manufacturing facility. Open to both undergraduate and master's students, this opportunity allows you to work alongside managers, winemakers and operators where you’ll develop valuable skills and contribute to impactful projects and advance your career.

Working closely with cross functional teams, interns’ essential functions are as follows:

  • Assist in the research, development and scale-up of new and cutting-edge technologies for the Winery.

  • Participate in technology projects and assist in managing ongoing development project.

    What You’ll Need

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.   • Currently enrolled at Stanford University in a Junior or Senior class standing working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; OR currently enrolled at Stanford University working towards a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

  • Commit to working for a minimum of ten (10) weeks, starting approximately July 2025 through October 2025

  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire

  • Required to lift and move up to 40 lbs when necessary.

  • Required to work at heights of 50 feet, on tops of tanks inspecting wine surfaces when necessary.

  • Required to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Strong applied technical skills and analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.

  • Mechanical inclination and an aptitude for design of equipment and manufacturing processes.

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $28.50-28.50 / hour
